Lauren Gollan Make-Up Studio Launch

Lauren Gollan Make-Up Studio was launched in Edinburgh last week, bringing innovative industry experience to the capital.

The academy, which is owned by renowned makeup artist Lauren Gollan, offers a host of classes aimed at all levels of ability, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Lauren has been a makeup artist for over 10 years working with models such as Lily Cole and Kate Moss and brands such as of Vivienne Westwood, Burberry and Christopher Kane.

Lauren stated at the event that the academy was something she had always aimed to do before becoming a successful pro-artist working both in the UK and internationally.

“I think my years of experience has helped. I continue to work internationally at fashion weeks as well as here in Scotland so I really wanted to use this experience to bring something innovative to the capital.” – Lauren Gollan

Experienced Staff and Exciting Products

Kerry Paterson now works full time at the academy and is completing an NQ having been inspired by the courses as a student, beams whilst discussing Lauren’s teaching methods.

The event also hosted the exciting launch of Nail Inc. Spray Nail Polish the world’s first spray-on nail polish. The revolutionary product was demoed on the night to an impressed crowd itching to get their hands on this new must-have.
